Biosketch

Lisa Singleterry, PhD, RN, CNE, is a nurse educator and registered nurse. She earned a BSN, MSN, and PhD in Nursing from Michigan State University. Dr. Singleterry worked as a bedside nurse between 1989 and 2010 in a variety of settings: Neuro Trauma ICU, general Medical Surgical and a nurse educator of a 71-bed rural hospital. She has been teaching in the university setting since 2006. Currently, she is an assistant professor with the Bronson School of Nursing at Western Michigan University, where she is affiliated with the WMed PACER team. As an active PACER team member, Dr. Singleterry is working to increase the interprofessional practice opportunities for nursing students at the WMed clinic.
