Biosketch

She received her undergraduate degree at Stanford University, Stanford, California, in Human Biology, later going on to earn a Master of Science in Microbiology from Wagner College, Staten Island, New York. After graduating from this program, she worked in New York City at Yeshiva University in the Chemistry Department, teaching biochemistry to undergraduate students.
